Opened in July of 1999 Extreme Sports Yamaha is a joint family owned business. Dick Davis and Al Bilton have been power sports enthusiast for most of their lives. Participating in moto-cross racing for a number of years as well as enduros, cross-country and hare scrambles. Throwing caution to the wind on Friday the 13th of November, 1992, Dick, Al and 2 of their close friends set out on a journey to cross the Atlantic Ocean from Florida through the Devils Triangle to Bimini Island, (the shark capital of the world) unassisted on personal watercraft. Being the first to accomplish this feat, their story was told on CNN and many newspapers across the country. Experiences like these along with their personal belief in taking pride in producing high quality work and paying strict attention to detail are what led them to acquire their own Yamaha dealership to spread their passion to others.
